Employee Screening

Safetynet is an independent entity in conducting fraud investigations and Leaders know that they don’t want to work with people of poor character or questionable backgrounds.

Individual Vetting

Safetynet offers individual screening services for clients expecting to avoid the pitfalls of hiring unsuitable candidates/members via our negative or positive vettings method.

Our services are all conducted systematically, ethically and most important legally. Although employee screening is conducted more regularly these days on executives, major foreign corporations are still slow to understand that the necessity of protecting themselves against applicants with fraudulent backgrounds and bad habits is just as material in Malaysia.

We look for pertinent information such as educational and professional qualifications; civil or criminal litigation records; drug or alcohol problems; and links to the organised crime.

Safetynet Employee Screening services are customized to meet our clients’ needs. We are devoted to helping our clients to reduce their risk of doing business.

Vendor Vetting

Safetynet also conducts vendor vetting. Meaning, on your behalf we undertake due diligence on your potential supplier, sub contractors, partners or even potential shareholder to determine any 'contingent liabilities' that may exist which could burden you later on.

Some of the basic questions we look at includes:-How was the vendor introduced to you or your company?, If it is through websites or submission of company profiles to register as your preferred supplier, was there any verification made to determine whether the supplier has a proper office or factory?, Is the financial statements verified?, If your are to hire the firm as a subcontractor, how strong is the firm financially, does the company have a ready credit line with the banks to procure its materials etc?,Does the vendor have a good track record i.e. relevant experience to take on the job?, and Do you have access to all pertinent information to make an objective assessment of the potential vendors?
